Candidate lists from Assembly of Sarajevo Canton for the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation BiH were delivered to the Central Election Commission (CEC) BiH for verification yesterday afternoon.
That is the necessary additional step towards constituting the Federation House of Peoples.
CEC is currently reviewing the material and it will issue its decision at the session, spokesperson of CEC Maksida Pirić announced for FENA.
She said the process has already been completed for five cantons, where election results for the House of Peoples have been determined. Those are: Canton 10, Posavina, Central Bosnia, Herzegovina-Neretva and West Herzegovina.
Apart from Sarajevo, lists have been verified for the remaining four cantons and they need to elect delegates to the House of Peoples, which the Sarajevo Canton Assembly needs to do once CEC verifies its candidate lists.
