When making the trade union consumer basket, the average salary paid in the FBiH was taken into account, as well as the minimum living costs of a family of four consisting of two adults and two children, one in high school and the other in primary school.

The consumer basket consists of these categories: food 43.9 percent, housing and utilities 14.8 percent, hygiene and health 6.2 percent, education and culture 8.6 percent, clothing and footwear 14.3 percent, transportation 6.6 percent, and household maintenance 5.7 percent.

When it comes to hygiene and maintaining health, the costs for twelve (12) items were included, and for housing and communal services the costs for six (6) items, ” it was announced by the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of BiH.
