deficitThe B&H Council of Ministers acknowledged the Information Directorate for Economic Planning on macroeconomic indicators for January-December 2013, stating that the economy of B&H has made slight economic growth in the first three quarters of 2013, thanks to a reduction in the trade deficit (16 percent), and a similar situation continued in the fourth quarter.

By reducing the deficit, it led to a nominal growth of export by 5,8 percent and a fal in imports by 4 percent. Among the positive trends was industrial production, and by the end of 2013 had a growth of 6,7 percent. The number of employed people in B&H at the end of 2013 was 687,93 thousand, while the number of unemployed people was 553,5 thousand, announced the B&H Council of Ministers.
