The delegation of the Armed Forces of B&H led by Major General Anto Jeleč, with members Colonel Branet Janković and Major Admir Jusupović participated at the meeting of the NATO Military Committee, held yesterday at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
A review of the current state in regard to the transition process and efforts in preparation of the Afghan national defense forces, which will take control of the whole territory of Afghanistan was conducted at the meeting. Also, a current assessment of the security situation in the process of planning for future mission “RESOLUTE SUPPORT” was presented and the economic-political situation in Afghanistan with the focus on the implementation of the upcoming election in April 2014 was reviewed.
On this occasion, General Anto Jeleč had a chance to exchange information and opinions with the Mayors from regional countries and with representatives of potential partner countries on the current and future participation to NATO operations.
The Head of the Military Mission to B&H Brigadier Alija Kožljak and Colonel Zvonko Nedić, participated at the meeting as well, announced Info Mission of B&H to NATO.
