The delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delegation of the Government of the Federation of BiH includes the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić, and the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar.
The delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is led by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez.
On this occasion, the Federal Government delegation attended the World Defense Show 2026, which is being held in Riyadh. It is one of the most significant international events in the field of defense and security, which brings together the world’s most important actors from the military industry, technology and strategic planning.
The delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke with representatives of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), led by the Director General. These talks opened up the possibility of international cooperation in the coming period in the field of dedicated industry. It was also announced the possibility of GADD representatives visiting our country and dedicated industry companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The federal prime minister and ministers also spoke with representatives of the Turkish company BMC, which supplied armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, the possibility of engaging TRZ Hadžići with the aim of servicing and overhauling the vehicles delivered to our country was considered.
Dedicated industry companies from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also presented themselves at this fair, including Igman d.d. Konjic, Unis Ginex d.d. Goražde, Binas d.d. Bugojno, Pretis d.d. Vogošća, Pobjeda Technology Goražde d.d., BNT-TMiH d.d. Novi Travnik, and their exhibition space was visited by numerous delegations, guests, business partners and associates.
Contacts were also established with potential customers and future business partners, which opens up new opportunities for the expansion of our products and services on the markets of this region – announced the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations.
