Delegation of the Ministry of Security of BiH met with British Parliamentarians

A delegation of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina led by Minister Selmo Cikotic met today in Sarajevo with members of the Foreign Policy Committee of the United Kingdom Parliament, who emphasized strong support for maintaining peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and current activities and key challenges facing the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.

Also, the focus of the meeting was on the current blockades in the work of state institutions and how this is reflected in the political and security situation in the country, the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina said.

The members of the Committee, led by Chairman Tom Tugendhat, pointed out that in addition to informing about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also relations in the region, they want to determine the future role and assistance of the United Kingdom.

The meeting was also attended by the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Matthew Field.
