Delegations from the Ministry of Defense paid Respect to fallen Soldiers

Delegations from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH AF), led by Colonel General Senad Mašović, today paid their respects to martyrs and fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of BiH at the Kovači cemetery in Sarajevo.

The honoring ceremony at this cemetery, as well as at other locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is part of the Program marking the 18th anniversary of the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The program marking this jubilee and honoring was also attended by members of the BH Presidency Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, as well as military officials, representatives of the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cantons, municipalities and representatives of veterans’ organizations, as well as representatives of the military-diplomatic corps accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the marking of the Day of the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the OSBiH, also the Day of the RBiH Army, numerous delegations paid their respects and laid flowers at the City Cemetery at Koševo, and tonight at 18:00 hrs. a solemn academy will be held at the Sarajevo National Theater, announced the Press Service of the BiH Ministry of Defense.
