Denis Zvizdic meets with UN Resident Coordinator in BiH Ingrid Macdonald

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHPA) Denis Zvizdic met with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in BiH Ingrid Macdonald and briefed her on the current political situation in BiH.

During the talks, Zvizdic said that Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the efforts of the United Nations in order to advance the highest goals of the organization.

He stressed that BiH recognizes the importance and role of the UN at the global level in order to find the most effective and concrete answers to the challenges and problems facing the modern world, and expressed the expectation that Bosnia and Herzegovina will have better representation in the United Nations system.

Zvizdic said that BiH is monitoring the activities undertaken in order to maintain peace and security, and the promotion and protection of human rights, poverty reduction, as well as the implementation of the 2030 agenda.

Also, Zvizdic stressed that the implementation of the 2030 agenda has full support of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
