Deputy Mayor Čović Wished Success to Competitors of Balkan Olympiad in Informatics 2013

8859On the occasion of the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics2013, which lasts until 14th September, Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Dr. Ranko Čović, last night at the reception organized at the Hotel Europe wished to competitors’ success and to team representatives gave gifts.

“It is my pleasure to welcome you in Sarajevo, and I hope beside medals to remember the friendship in our city“, said Čović.

At this year’s Competition which is being held for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina there are participating high school students from13countries in the region, all the Balkan countries, except Albania, as well as guests from Tajikistan, Slovenia and Croatia.

At the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics there are participating teamsof four students, while team of B&H as a host of the competition will be presented by eight students. Students will compete in algorithmic problem solving.
