Presidency SDA Conclusions faktor.baAt the regular session held in Sarajevo on Monday, the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) greeted the decision by the Presidency of B&H for the submission of application for membership in the EU in mid-February.

“The application is made credible by the approval of the Coordination mechanism which has been adjusted to the Stabilization and Association Agreement,” said the vice-president of SDA Šemsudin Dedić at the press conference after the session of SDA Presidency.

Dedić added that the results of the census in B&H from 2013 must be published as soon as possible in order to increase credibility of the application.

Summarizing conclusions from the session of SDA Presidency, Dedić highlighted that this party body once again confirmed its attitude towards the commitment of SDA to the preserving of coalition with the Alliance for Better Future (SBB).

The SDA Presidency also believes that reforms in the health sector must be implemented as urgently as possible.

In accordance with its election platform and in the interest of patients and health workers, SDA will support reforms that will enable the rationalization of health protection and disabling of simultaneous work of doctors in public and private institutions.

Furthermore, SDA Presidency assessed the conclusion by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&H on the ban of wearing religious symbols to the holders of judicial posts as “shameful”.
