Discussions Began in Banja Luka

1455697Representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the RS began discussions today in Banja Luka with the International Monetary Fund Delegation as part of the third overview that comes from the commitments of the Stand-By Arrangement, confirmed the Ministry to Srna.

The IMF delegation will be in Banja Luka until Friday, 17 May, where the final discussions are planned between the Ministry of Finance and this international financial institution.

On 26 September of last year, the IMF approved a Stand-By Arrangement for BiH of 403,8 million euros. The RS this year should be able to withdraw funds from the IMF worth 120 million KM, and the funds are intended to support the budget.

The IMF Mission finished the first overview on 19 December last year, and the second one on 6 May of this year. On the basis of completed obligations sent from letters of intent, and after the overview is performed, the IMF approved 155,6 million euros to BiH.
