The European Federation of Cinematographers IMAGO announced nominations for categories of feature film and series as well as documentary film. On the list of nominated films is BH documentary film “Saraj’vo” by the legendary BH cinematographer, Mustafa Mustafic.

For cinematography work on this film were nominated Mustafa Mustafic, Almir Djikoli, and Faris Dobraca.

Imago Awards will be awarded at the 25th anniversary of the European Cinematographic Association in Helsinki, from October 26 to 28.

The documentary film essay “Saraj’vo”, by Mustafa Mustafic, tells untold Sarajevo stories, the image of everyday city ritual and unexplored angles, reveals ordinary and unusual Sarajevo days and residents. “Saraj’vo” represents author’s homage to his own town and a testimony on the fragment of time, as well as personal, quite intimate image of a Sarajevan.

The film was created during five years of continuous documentary recording, and besides the cameraman, director and screenwriter, the team also includes editor Miralem Zubcevic, composer Damir Imamovic and sound designer Igor Camo.

The film was produced by SCCA/pro.ba, the producer was Amra Bakcic Camo in co-production with PANGLAS.
