Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade. The ties between Serbia and Republika Srpska (RS) have never been stronger and no one will ever be able to disrupt them. This was written by the President of Serbia on his Instagram account after this meeting.
“We discussed all important issues, showed understanding forthe difficult position of the Serbian people today, and agreed on Serbia’s support for the RS, economically and in all other areas. Peace and stability in this region are essential interests of Serbia and Srpska, as well as unique position on important political issues for the Western Balkans, but also for Europe, “Aleksandar Vucic wrote on his Instagram profile.
It was added that Dodik conveyed to President Vucic that he and RS are under great pressure regarding the internal political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), while President Vucic explained that Serbia will not and cannot accept the application of Bonn powers or the introduction of sanctions against the RS leadership, and pointed out that he will work on further assistance to the people of RS while respecting the integrity of Srpska within BiH.
Vucic and Dodik agreed that after the formation of the new Government of Serbia, the first joint session will be held in Banja Luka.
