Milorad Dodik, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced that today he will file a criminal complaint against the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic, for what he said was abuse of position and authority.
According to Dodik, Dzaferovic’s participation in the Summit on the International Crimean Platform, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, is illegitimate.
Dodik emphasized “that there is no position of the BiH Presidency regarding this issue and that Dzaferovic violated the rules of procedure for the work of this institution”.
“Because he is not independent in the function of chairman. A member of the Presidency has the right to make international contacts, but these international contacts are not in the name of the Presidency if there is no position of the Presidency,” said Dodik.
Dodik recalled that he was of the opinion that the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina should not participate in the aforementioned meeting.
He stated that there is no unified position in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Ukrainian crisis.
“Dzaferovic is one third of the Presidency, and the body called the Presidency is a collective body and only he can adopt positions. These cannot be the positions of the Presidency. He will refer to a story from 2014 when it was a completely different relationship , a completely different state,” said Dodik.
