covic-dodikAfter the meeting with member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that SNSD is not ready and will not enter into government at the level of BiH.

Dodik said that they concluded that the SNSD and HDZ BiH achieved good cooperation and that they will continue that practice in local assemblies where it is possible to work together.

The president of the RS said that he agreed with Covic that SNSD and HDZ BiH work through a working group on the creation of the joint proposal of the Law on the Constitutional Court.

He said that he introduced the president of the HDZ BiH with the political and economic situation in BiH and that they talked about solving problems in Canton 10.

He mentioned the local elections, noting that the opposition in RS was defeated because it was unsuccessful at the state level. He said that he openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the work of the institutions of BiH to Covic.

Dodik said that the RS is committed to the European path of BiH, but that it should bear in mind that it is necessary to preserve consensus. He said that he is glad that the coordination mechanism is finally adopted.

Asked whether the coalition will last until 2018, Covic said that their wish is that this works until the new elections. However, he repeated that there is no parliamentary majority at the state level but they are going from point to point on the agenda. Covic said that  the three party leaders in FBiH agreed to settle all issues in the next 15 days.
