The president of SNSD, Milorad Dodik, traveled to Belgrade to meet with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

As Dodik announced on the social network X, among the topics they discussed was also the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), which is under United States (U.S.) sanctions.

“I supported the efforts that President Vucic is investing with the aim of finding the best solution for Serbia for the NIS problem, in order to ensure Serbia’s energy stability. I believe that this solution will be found soon and that the refineries in Novi Sad and Pancevo will continue operating without interruption,” Dodik said.

He also added that with Vucic he “stands shoulder to shoulder” and that they continue to “preserve Serbian unity, stability, and the joint strength of Republika Srpska (RS) and Serbia.”

Furthermore, he also stated that they discussed the situation in the RS entity.

“I informed President Vucic that the situation in RS is stable and secure, as well as about our activities that are directed exclusively at respecting the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement,” Dodik added.
