putin-dodik-fonet-1024x692President of the RS and the President of SNSD Milorad Dodik announced that there is a possibility for him to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday and if this meeting happens, he will “try to provide an alternative for the fiscal stability of the RS, because the Russian Federation promised to financially help the RS before, but then they got sanctions from the EU and that never happened.”

“I want to rehabilitate that again and to see what are the chances for this. I cannot say that there is certainty in that regard, but I will talk about it and it is logical for me to do it,” added Dodik.

Dodik will travel to St. Petersburg today, where he will attend the forum that is traditionally organized under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation.

After the meeting of the Executive Committee of the SNSD, he told reporters in Banja Luka that “this time there is a strong possibility” that he meets with President Putin on Friday, but at the moment he cannot confirm that the meeting will happen.

At the meeting of the Executive Committee of the SNSD was concluded to organize a larger meeting of representatives of ruling coalition parties in the RS (the SNSD, DNS and SP) next week, and on the agenda will be mutual relations, which, according to him, need to be stronger and they need to eliminate strike at “that strong and clear relationship”.

They rejected the initiative of no confidence in the Government of RS of the opposition in the RS at the special session of the entity parliament.

“I think that the opposition in the RS is not serious and that it is making very bad moves for the citizens of the RS,” noted Dodik, and denied statements of the opposition in the RS that the economic situation in this BH entity is very bad and that it is overburdened by debt.
