The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), Milorad Dodik, confirmed today after the meeting with representatives of the “Eight” parties, which was held in Banja Luka, that the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH and other bodies at the BiH level was discussed.

”SNSD with its coalition partners, ‘Osmorka’ and HDZ is definitely the structure that will together form the government at the BiH level,” said Dodik.

It was agreed that next week, as he stated, the teams they specified will hold meetings in order to start solving issues related to the economy and institutional developments.

At the meeting in Banja Luka, the “Eight” were represented by the president of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SDP), Nermin Nikšić, the president of the People and Justice Elmedin Konaković, and Damir Marjanović from the Party for New Generations.

In addition to Dodik, the SNSD delegation included the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH Nebojša Radmanović and the Prime Minister of the RS Radovan Višković.

Dodik previously stated that it is crucial for the SNSD to get guarantees that processes from the RS that are important to them will be unblocked, namely the Buk Bijela hydroelectric plant, the Trebinje Airport and gasification through the RS.
