Dodik says the EU should allocate Twenty Billion Euros to BiH by 2027

The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, welcomed the decision of the heads of government and states of the European Union to grant BiH candidate status, saying that it is time to finalize the process of joining the EU by providing financial support to BiH in the amount of 20 billion euros until 2027.

“I welcome the decision of the heads of government and states of the European Union to recognize Bosnia and Herzegovina as a candidate for EU membership. Twenty years since the ‘great’ Thessaloniki promise of membership, the EU has spent in empty stories and colorful lies,” Dodik said.

He added that it is time for the European Union and BiH, together and as partners, to finalize the accession process to mutual satisfaction.

“With that aim, I will propose to all political actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entities that we ask the EU for financial support in the amount of 20 billion euros by 2027,” Dodik said.
