Dodik to coordinate with the President of Serbia on a common Position

The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that tomorrow he will coordinate with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić a common position on participation in the summit of the leaders of the European Union and the countries of the Western Balkans, which will be held on Tuesday, December 6 in Tirana.

Dodik said that the position of the President of Serbia on going to the summit in Tirana is very clear, but that the real circumstances should also be taken into account, that is, the fact that it is a summit of the EU and the Western Balkans and that Serbia is the most important country in the region.

“Probably the EU will not look at it without any attempts to ensure the presence of President Vučić, but what is important is that tomorrow during the day we will crystallize and adopt a common position on whether to go or not,” Dodik told Tanjug.

Dodik stated that, if the President of Serbia does not go to this meeting, then “the presence of Republika Srpska in Tirana will be questionable.”

“Here in Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are complex procedures in this regard. It is known that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a three-member Presidency, and if one member is unable to do so, then another goes and that can be a problem, but we will coordinate all of this with President Vučić,” Dodik said.
