The body of an unknown person was found on the banks of the Drina river in the settlement of Amajlije in Bijeljina, the Bijeljina police confirmed.
The spokesperson of the Bijeljina Police Department, Aleksandra Marić, told Srna news agency that this case was reported to the police by phone at 12:30 p.m.
Police officers went to the scene and an investigation is underway.
