ditaThe workers of the Factory of detergents “Dita” from Tuzla were again given hope. The long struggle for justice and survival in the former Tuzla giant has paid off, the workers said, RTV Slon reported.

RTV Slon says that all was found as it was three years ago. The preparations for the launch of production started days ago, all machines are in operation, and the workers, they say, need only the support of the government.

“To find a strategic partner, and to accept employees, a lot of new staff is needed here, it is vital that our children do not go abroad, here is the chance for these children to get a job”, said Dževad Mehmedović, the president of the Union of the workers of the Factory of detergents “Dita”.

Workers expect that at the assembly of creditors, which is scheduled for June 30th, they will receive a positive response to going “full steam ahead” in the production. The relevant Minister is optimistic as well.

”I kindly ask the citizens of the Tuzla Canton and B&H to buy domestic products, to purchase ”Dita” products when we see them, thus helping the trustee to withdraw more people from the employment bureau”, added Srđan Mićanović, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining in the Government of the Tuzla Canton.

After many years of struggle, the workers see a glimmer of hope for a better tomorrow. We might be closer to the day when people will once again be able to buy 3 DE dishwasher detergent and many other products of the former Tuzla giant, the day when we will hear “Fakat miriše bijelo” again.
