Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Sarovic, met with the Ambassador of Hungary to BiH, Jozsef Negyesi, and they discussed the economic cooperation of the two countries that is recording important and continuous progress last year and this year.

The establishment of the airline Sarajevo – Budapest made a great breakthrough in the development of economic cooperation, and Ambassador Negyesi announced that the support of the Hungarian government to the process of financing this airline will be continued in the next four years.

The realization of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Hungary, which was signed in September last year, brought especially good effects of cooperation. A large increase in the arrival of Hungarian tourists was recorded after the aforementioned agreement was signed, and it will have an important impact on the tourist balance of BiH, as announced by the Ministry of ForeignTrade and Economic Relations of BiH.
