B&H’s furniture industry of MS&WOOD (‘Masters and Wood’) delivered 50Truckloads of Chairs to the world’s largest furniture store chain IKEA.
These are high-quality ranked chairs that are part of the range of this Swedish retail chain. For eight months in the factory of furniture in Fojnica, the production plan for 50 truckloads of chairs has been met, while the next 50 truckloads will be delivered in the next four months.
‘’This means a double increase in production in the next four months. We are convinced that in March next year that we would continue with this tempo and meet our annual plan for the delivery of the total of 100 truckloads for the customer. This is a success for the entire B&H furniture industry, because our chairs are marked with ‘Made in B&H’, and is exported to 42 countries on all continents, and is found for sale from Japan, to the EU countries and the USA’’, said Sedina Ćemana, Director of the furniture factory in Fojnica.
The cooperation of the two companies began in January 2013. The next stage in the realization of the strategic objectives of improving business of the two companies is to move from the concept of ‘Made in B&H’ to ‘Create in B&H’, which implies the fulfillment of the process from design to manufacturing of finished products, and for which MS&WOOD already received the necessary approval from IKEA.
