The wood industry in B&H in nine months had exports worth 660,6 million BAM, which is 10,6 percent more than in the same period last year. Regarding exports, the biggest participation comes from the furniture industry with 37,7 percent, which is more than 245 million BAM of the total exports.
‘’Exports of furniture increased by 9,3 percent in comparison to nine months last year. Also, an important item in export is lumber, and with 27,7 percent participates in the total exports, and the production of forestry products that this year is 18,6 percent.’’, said Selma Bašagić, Secretary of the Association of Timber and Forestry of the Trade Chamber.
When it comes to export, in nine months it totaled around more than 175 million BAM, which is 1,4 percent less than in the same period in 2012.
