The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated in San Francisco by the United States of America with a score of 0:2 in the round of 16 of the World Cup. Sergej Barbarez’s men won a historic place in the knockout stage by passing the group, but on the way to the round of 16, they were stopped by the favored USA team, one of the hosts of the World Cup and a team that came to the final tournament with great ambitions.

The United States took the lead in the 45th minute of the first half. The scorer was Balogun after a recklessness in our defense.

The advantage was doubled by Tilman from a free kick in the 82nd minute after a too severe foul for the local footballers.

The Americans played with 10 players on the field from the 64th minute after Balogun was sent off.

The United States of America will play in the round of 16 against Belgium, which defeated Senegal 3:2 after overtime and overtime.

That game will be played on the night from Monday (July 6) to Tuesday (July 7) at 2:00 a.m. Seattle time.
