The captain of the football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Džeko, is disappointed after the national team’s defeat against the USA and elimination from the WC, but he pointed out that we should be proud of the overall result of this selection.

“We did our best, but unfortunately we are going home. Regardless, we should be proud of what we did. We shouldn’t have conceded the second goal, then it was a little more difficult. We had dominance after the red card, but that goal cut us down,” Dzeko said after the game.

He thanked the fans who supported them throughout the tournament.

“I think the fans are proud of us, as we are proud of them,” said the captain of the BiH national team.
