Sarajevo - Gradina‘’The Dragons are building a bone marrow bank’’ is the name of a manifestation that will be held on 18 May in hotel Terme Ilidža, which aims to raise funds for the typification of the formation of a bone marrow bank. ‘’This will be a joint action by the B&H Football Association, all institutional systems and entrepreneurs to build a bone marrow bank’’, confirmed to Fena Agency Amela Sućeska, Director of the project of the bone marrow bank and Vice-President and Project Manager of the NGO ‘Mala’, an organization that implements the project of forming a bone marrow bank.

The general sponsor of the event is Asim and Ivica Osim and the B&H Football Association. The event will gather B&H football players, people from the public and political life, entrepreneurs that citizens will be able to contact via telephone.

‘’The concept of the event is that guest will be able to speak with the audience. There will be about 10 contact phones. During the show that will last four hours, citizens can communicate with guests, with football players, politicians and celebrities. We plan to invite ambassadors and the B&H High Representative Valentin Inzko. All mayors of municipalities, prime ministers of cantons, entrepreneurs in the public and private sector will be invited’’, explained Sućeska

During the show, which will be directly shown on TV Pink, viewers will be able to call a humanitarian number and can see the account number to which they can deposit funds. There will be a raffle and auction for jerseys of the football players, because all football players will give their jerseys to the auction, said Sućeska.

‘’Our goal is to build a broader campaign to finally provide financial resources on the typification of forming a bone marrow bank. We can provide 1.500 blood samples, but the typing of these 1.500 samples has to be financed, because the price of one typification is 400 Euros. We want to finally do what institutional systems were not able to do, with the Dragons’’, he said.
