team2National football team of B&H today will find out the names of opponents in the qualifiers for the World Cup in Russia in 2018.

European national teams will be categorized into 9 groups whose winners will qualify for the World Cup at the end, while the eight best runners-up will take part in the play-offs. The weakest second placed team will be out of the Cup.

National team of B&H will wait today’s draw in the second drum together with national teams of Italy, Slovakia, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Iceland and Denmark. The first top-seed group includes Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, Wales, Portugal and Spain.

The interesting fact is that the draw, theoretically, can offer a former Yugoslav group since Croatian national team is in the first hat, our team in the second, Serbia in the third, Montenegro in the fourth and Macedonia in the fifth hat. B&H delegation in Constantine’s Palace in St. Petersburg will be: the Vice president of the Football Association, Darko Ljubojević, general secretary Jasmin Baković and the secretary of the national team, Elmir Pilav.

Draw will start at 5 p.m.
