Small and medium-sized enterprises in BiH that are not able to afford commercial consultants can contact the Program for Development of Managers (PUM) for advice.

The PUM program is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Infrastructure and environment of the Netherlands and for more than 30 years, PUM senior experts have worked as volunteers to distribute their knowledge and experience to entrepreneurs throughout the world.

Specifically, entrepreneurs from BiH who have a specific business people can turn to the local PUM representative, and create an application for the recruitment of an expert. After an application evaluation, experts from the Netherlands would come to BiH, analyze the problem and give their practical solution. That could refer to the progress in product quality, business processes, logistics, packaging, management, identifying the opportunities for business growth, etc…

The PUM senior experts possess rich expertise in all areas of the economy-agriculture, tourism, wood processing, metal industry, textiles, food, energy, construction, finance, transport and business logistics, trade, etc…

Many of the experts were owners or owners of their own businesses, and the rest have an enviable managerial and specialist experience in Dutch corporations.

Since the experts are volunteers, costs that companies from BiH have are minimal and are based only on the provision of accommodation and meals for the experts during their stay in BiH. The length of the stay of experts is a maximum of two weeks.

For these types of services of companies, they should be registered in BiH, they must have a minimum of two years of business from the day of registration, more than 11 and less than 250 employees, capital worth of less than 10 million euros, scope of annual income less than 10 million euros and that foreign ownership does not exceed 50 percent.
