Dzaferovic and Komsic: If there is no Reaction from the International Community, the State Forces will react

Zeljko Komsic, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and BiH Presidency Member Sefik Dzaferovic met with German Minister of State for Europe,Michael Roth.

During the meeting, Roth emphasized support for BiH on its European path. He expressed concern over the situation in BiH, especially the boycott of the institutions of the state of BiH and the secessionist rhetoric coming from the Republika Srpska (RS)entity.

Members of the Presidency of BiH stressed that all European Union (EU) countries are important for our country, but that Germany is of special importance.

It was pointed out that, if someone wants to help BiH, then it is only necessary to adhere to public policies and 14 priorities from the European Commission (EC) Opinion, both by domestic and international and European officials.

Komsic and Dzaferovic agreed with the German state minister’s assessment that the situation in BiH is complicated. They saidthat they asked for the understanding of international officials, emphasizing that secessionist policies must be informed that such a policy will not be tolerated.

“If there is no reaction from the international community, the state forces will have to react at any cost because dissolution is out of the question, and not a single inch of BiH will be allowed to secede. A ban on state police announced from the RS entity would be a step that would lead to consequences, ” it was stated from the Presidency of BiH.

Further, it was emphasized that the weakening of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) strengthened the anti-constitutional and anti-Bosnian forces since they understood that as a signal to put war policies on the agenda, even though they had previously voted for all reform processes. It was stated that the political destruction and disruptive factors that advocate secession must be stopped.

The German Minister of State expressed interest in visiting BiH to continue the discussion on the mentioned topics in order to find a solution.
