After several years of delay due to the dispute regarding the ownership of the land in the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, representatives of the Zenica Doboj Canton (ZDC) Government and the EBRD Office in BiH agreed on a way to start the implementation of the energy efficiency project in the largest public health institution in this canton.

EBRD, in addition to the previously approved loan in the amount of 11 million euros and a grant of 200,000 euros for the institutional strengthening of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, will approve additional funds of free technical assistance in the amount of 475,000 euros.

We remind you that this is a project that involves thorough reconstruction of existing buildings, construction of new facilities, operating block and boiler room, and procurement of new equipment, which will significantly improve the conditions for the stay and work of patients and employees in this institution, which expects the status of a clinical hospital.
