The new management of the Public Enterprise “Sarajevo” has replaced the plaque located at the beginning of the Trebeviccable car.

The replaced plaque was installed by the then mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka.

Namely, the plaque was installed in 2018 and has Skaka’s signature on it. But these days, the it has been replaced.

These are the words of Edmond Offermann which are engraved on the new one:

”The friends I made here and the memories I have with my family in Sarajevo are the greatest reward.”

To recall, the Swiss who is married to Maja Amra-Serdarevic, who is of Bosnian origin, initiated the construction of the Trebevic cable car and is the main donor for the construction of the Trebevic cable car.

He donated 7 million BAM for the revitalization of this symbol of Sarajevo.
