The biggest educational IT event in the region, the ‘knowledge factory’, is entering its fifth year of existence with more interesting lectures, workshops, contests and related activities.
On 11 and 12 September, Andrićgrad will be the host of this educational event, which gathers in one place experts, potential customers, young talent and important figures from the political and cultural spheres. In the course of two days, the buildings of Andrićgrad will be converted into exhibitions spaces for advanced software solutions, a place where answers can be found for all the current issues tied to business IT solutions and platforms, according to portal 058.ba.
‘Knowledge Factory’ is a unique event in Southeast Europe. As part of the project, around 3.000 students every year will have the chance to meet firsthand the current trends in the field of hardware and software, with the help of more than 50 experienced lecturers.
As the contents of the ‘knowledge factory’ were carefully selected in accordance with the age and interests of the participants, the event in large measure deals with the launch of highly demanded professions in the field of information technology. Since learning and fun go hand in hand at this event, attendees are able to more easily acquire new knowledge and be prepared to assume key roles in the IT sector in the future.
Participants of the event will be primary and secondary schools in the region, which would be able to see how one international IT company functions. In addition to numerous lectures and unavoidable tours by different sectors, various entertainment programs have been prepared for the youth, such as the competition in Play Station games and knowledge games.
