There is a lot of speculations about potential candidates for members of the Presidency of BiH, but the parties did not come out with official names yet. Unofficially – there is a lot of talk going on about possible battles among the national parties for the Serb, Croat and Bosniak members of the Presidency of BiH.

From current members of the Presidency of BiH, this is the second term for Bakir Izetbegovic and he cannot be nominated for the third time in a row. Therefore, it is still uncertain who will be proposed as a candidate for a Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH from the SDA. Some of the mentioned names are Halid Genjac, Sefik Dzaferovic, and Denis Zvizdic.

Croatian and Serbian members of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic and Mladen Ivanic, can fight for the highest position in the country again, but it has not been officially confirmed that they will. The Alliance for Changes (SzP) announced that they will certainly have a candidate, but it remains the mystery who will be that candidate.

The question whether Milorad Dodik will be nominated against the candidate from the opposite team still remains, and the leader of the SNSD neither confirmed nor denied that.

“I am an interesting figure, so everyone is interested in what will happen,” noted Dodik.

The fight could be very close when it comes to the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH in case that both SDA and SBB nominate their candidates, and the name of Fahrudin Radoncic is also frequently mentioned. From the SDP announced that the left will have candidates for all three positions in the Presidency of BiH. Zeljko Komsic already announced that he will be in the race for a Croatian member of the Presidency, which caused numerous reaction.
