“Electronic Registry” in ten Primary Schools in the Canton Sarajevo

e registryContract on the development of software applications for the execution and implementation of the pilot project “Electronic registry” (e-registry) for ten elementary schools under the competence of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Canton Sarajevo, was signed yesterday by Minister Elvir Kazazovic.

“E-registry” is application software intentionally developed for management of digital educational administration and records in elementary schools in the Canton Sarajevo. For the implementation of this pilot project, after a tender procedure, was selected company QSS Ltd. Sarajevo.

After a meeting with representatives of QSS, Minister Kazazovic said that the project aims at improving cooperation with parents as well as their constant awareness of the progress and behavior of students. These data will be available to parents through the information system EMIS and e-registry through passwords and with full data security.

“In this way, the Ministry will computerize administrative processes in line with global trends in education,” emphasized Kazazovic.

It was explained that the project will be implemented in three phases and that the education of users on the use of this program as well as technical support during the use will be provided as well.
