“Elektroprivreda BiH” is Connecting Mines in a Single Information System

informacioni sistem“Elektroprivreda BiH” intends to introduce an integrated information system (ERP) in a subsidiary-coal mines in order to connect them in a future single information system of Koncern EP BiH and better financial management, said portal Indikator.ba.

With this in mind, at the Assembly of “Elektroprivreda BiH”, which is scheduled for 27 February, a decision is expected to be adopted on the recapitalization of all seven subsidiaries-coal mines in 2014 and 2015 in order to obtain the license, the minimum required hardware and implementation of an integrated information system, as well as training services.

An analysis of current business and information system in the coal mines shows an excessive number of individual software that is not mutually bound. As a result, the data is found in several applications and it is difficult to gather and integrate it. Also, most of the applications in various tools and technologies, and as a consequence there are technical problems that would occur during the process of the technical integration of mines in the company.

The backbone of the future development of a single information system at the level of ‘Elektroprivreda BiH’ will be SAP system, which is a world-famous branded solution.
