Patient Ela Jovanović is clinically more stable, but still requires intensive treatment at the Department of Anesthesia, Reanimation and Intensive Therapy with continued early rehabilitation – confirmed Ismet Gavrankapetanović, director of the General Hospital ‘Prim. Dr. Abdullah Nakaš’.

Seventeen years old Ella Jovanović was hospitalized in the General Hospital after severe injuries she sustained on February 12 in a tram accident in Sarajevo. Twenty three years old Erdoan Morankić was killed in that accident.

Informal groups of citizens, mostly high school students and students, have been expressing their support and wishes for her speedy recovery in front of the building of the Sarajevo General Hospital for days.

The accident happened on February 12, when a tram from the direction of the Railway Station entered the intersection near the Technical School at high speed. As a result, it derailed, hit the tram station and pedestrians. On that occasion, one person died and four were injured.
