The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), at the solemn opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympic Games (WOG) in Pyeongchang will be brought by alpine skier – Elvedina Muzaferija, currently the top ranked athlete of the BH Olympic team.
This decision was made yesterday by the Executive Committee of the Olympic Committee of BiH at a regular session.
The eighteen-year-old member of the Ski Club Zenica is the youngest BH team competitor, and will perform in five alpine disciplines in Pyeongchang.
To remind you, besides Muzaferija, in the BH Olympic team in South Korea there will be three more representatives: Emir Lokmic in alpine skiing, and Mladen Plakalovic and Tanja Karisik in cross-country skiing.
