Elvir Karalic Nominated for the Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo

The Sarajevo City Council will hold its eighth session on March 11, during which councilors will decide on the recipients of the Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo.

The Committee for the Award previously submitted its proposals to the City Council.

According to the proposed agenda, councilors will consider the Report on the Work of the Committee for the Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo for 2026.

They will also consider a proposal to award the individual Sixth of April Award for 2026 to Elvir Karalić, founder of the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba.

Another proposal concerns awarding the individual Sixth of April Award for 2026 to academician Vladimir Beus, while the collective Sixth of April Award is proposed for the Obala Art Center Sarajevo.

Councilors will also consider a proposal to grant the collective Sixth of April Award for 2026 to the Museum of Sarajevo.

The Sixth of April Award of the City of Sarajevo is granted to distinguished individuals, groups, and organizations for significant achievements and outstanding contributions in various areas of political and social life.
