Giving consent for the ratification of the Agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications of doctors of medicine, doctors of dental medicine and architects in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement, and giving consent for the ratification of the Agreement on the recognition of higher education qualifications in the Western Balkans, are items on the agenda that should be found today at emergency session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH).
At the beginning of November last year, the heads of government of the six economies of the Western Balkans signed three agreements on mobility within the framework of the Action Plan for the common regional market, namely – on freedom of movement with an identity card, on the recognition of higher education qualifications and on the recognition of professional qualifications for medical doctors, dentists and architects.
In order for the implementation of the signed agreement to begin, it is necessary for the documents to be ratified by the parliaments in each of the countries.
The parliamentarians should also approve the ratification of the Financing Agreement concluded between BiH, the RS and the European Investment Bank (Banja Luka Medical Complex Project), the European Fund for Sustainable Development – EFSD + Dedicated Investment Framework 1 (FI No 91.071 – SERAPIS 2019 -0319).
The goal of the project is to expand and improve the infrastructure of the Medical Complex on Paprikovac in Banja Luka.
It is planned that the Project will be implemented by the end of January 2029.
Deputies should give consent to the ratification of the Investment Grant Agreement to support the Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina within the framework of the Pre-Accession Assistance Instrument (IPA II) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank.
The project is part of the water supply sector renewal program, which consists of a series of municipal investments aimed at ensuring water supply and sewerage services in the Federation of BiH and the Republika Srpska, Fena reports.
