[wzslider autoplay=”true”]One of the successful young people in our country is Emina Sabic (24) from Visoko, which has an unusual hobby – she is engaged in calligraphy, and she is not just engaged in it, but a number of her works decorate the homes of people throughout our country, but also Turkey, Germany, Austria, and even Dubai. And it all started by accident, during the blessed month of Ramadan.

“I’ve always been prone to the fine arts, but after finishing high school (Persian-Bosnian College) I did not have the courage to enter the Academy of Fine Arts, so I opted for the economy instead. However, this art thread remained in me, and during the month of Ramadan in 2014, some inner feeling took over me and I decided to, instead of painting the nature, to make calligraphy art to decorate the wall of my room,” said this young girl from Visoko.

Even though she did not had contact with calligraphy before, she continued to work, and when she finished her first work, she shared it with her friends on social networks and got numerous praises, and everything started from there…

“I started making some pieces for friends, and the more I worked, the more I walked into the magical world of calligraphy. I started to like this complexity and the art of writing, especially that feeling while I am making new work. For some of them I am so tied that I would never give them, some others ended up with my friends, and then I started receiving orders, as people showed up and wanted to give some compensation or reward for my efforts.

Today, Emina made many works and she is planning an exhibition at which should be presented between 20 and 30 of her works.

Every job that is done from the heart is a successful business, because first of all you’re happy, and people recognize your work and effort. However, not everything is so gray, as it is represented, and there will always be some obstacles. So I want to tell young people the following: It is spring, find what you love and start running your own small business. If there is a desire, then there is the way as well,” said young calligraphy artist from Visoko, Emina Sabic.
