“Energa 2015”: B&H urgently needs a unique Strategy for Development of Energy Sector

Energa 2015 - Stand R CeskaA panel on “Actual issues of the Energy Sector development  in B&H” was held as the central event of the conference on the 9th of June, within the 5th International Specialized Fair of Energy “Energa”, held from the 9th to 12th of June in Tuzla.

Vice President of Chamber of Economy FB&H, Mirsad Jašarspahić, said in his introductory address that our country is obliged to accept and implement the legislation of the European Union including all guidelines regarding EU energy policy.

The following issues were discussed on the panel: “The policies of renewable energy sources in B&H / FB&H”, “Principles of energy governance”, “Low carbon strategy of B&H”, “Long Term Plan of Elektroprivreda B&H in the context of the EU policy for the energy sector”, “The future challenges of Elektroprivreda HZHB activities according to the energy policy of the EU “,” Map of activities for removing barriers in the process of building renewable energy sources” and “Impact of reversible power plants in the electric power system.”

On the second day of the fair, the presentation program covered the following topics: “Systems for measurement of the quality of coal and their usage in mines and power plants” (Enelex, Czech Republic), “The main characteristics and application of fiberglass made profiles” (Pullcom BH), and “Reliable power supply solutions for data centers and IT equipment” (SICON SAS, 1 pm).

The ceremony of recognition with certificates awarded to the participants will be held on Friday, the 12th of June, after which Energa fair will be closed.
