[wzslider autoplay=”true”]The sixth specialized fair “Energa 2016” was officially opened in Tuzla yesterday. It is a regionally recognized event which encompasses specialized fair of energetics and conference-presentation contents, with participants from ten European countries. Partner country of the fair was the Czech Republic.

“Interest of all participants in the fair is the proof that the energy sector in BiH is good for establishing long-term business connections with local partners. I hope that all activities during the fair, as well as the presence of all of you, will become another impulse for the strengthening of business ties between companies and that every company will take advantage of this opportunity,” said in his addressing speech the President of the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH and the President of the Organizational Committee of the fair, Mirsad Jašarspahić.

Bruno Bojić, President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH which is a partner of the fair, said that this fair deserves much more attention from the executive and legislative authority and invited everyone to strengthen the economy and participate in the creation of legislative framework of BiH through associations and groups of the Foreign Trade Chamber.

“The energy sector plays the main role in the economic and social progress in BiH. Economically and environmentally healthy delivery of energy is the foundational condition for competitive economy in BiH without which the sustainable growth and employment are not possible,” said Stipo Buljan, Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry of FBiH.

According to Admir Softić, who spoke on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH which is one of the sponsors of this fair, the international fair of energy “Energa” has a special role in the achievement of the mentioned goals.

“We believe that in the future this fair will be one of the important actors in this process. Moreover, we hope that through its work it will demonstrate a high degree of mutual understanding between numerous partners, of inclusion and cooperation of all participants in an attempt to present real problems to those present, along with possible solutions which ensure a better future and open new workplaces in BiH,” Softić said.

According to Bego Gutić, Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Tuzla is a logical choice when it comes to this kind of fair. Gutić highlighted that this fair will yield good results due to two projects – the thermal block 7 and the thermal block Banovići, and that this will be an additional motive for participation in the fair for many other companies.

Partner of this year’s “Energa”, the Czech Republic, is represented by nearly 20 Czech companies whose interest in participation in the fair is a proof that these companies pay great attention to the BiH market in their strategies and that they are interested in establishing business relations.

“It gives me pleasure to know that the Czech entrepreneurs and managers understand the significance of participating in international fairs, and that in the past several years the Czech companies have been active in the energy sector, in mining, engineering, traffic infrastructure, water management and environmental protection sector, and that they are trying to take advantage of the comparative advantages of this country to the maximum,” said, among other things, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to BiH Jakub Skalnik, who declared the fair opened together with the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Bego Gutić.

In a letter written on the occasion of the opening of the fair, the Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović pointed out the importance of renewable sources and energy efficiency and that “Energa” is an excellent way to promote capacities of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

Specialized fair of energy “Energa 2016” will be opened until tomorrow, June 9. Over 100 exhibitors from 10 European countries will present themselves  on 6.000 square meters in the Sports-Cultural-Business Centre Mejdan in Tuzla during three fair fays.

In the conference program, which will treat numerous issues and answers in the field of energy, the panel which attracted the most attention during the first day of the fair was “Strategic approach to investing in energy sector in BiH”.
