Although the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) still need a negative coronavirus test result to enter Montenegro, the decision according to which crossing the border is simpler, but also cheaper, is in force as of Monday(, Avaz news portal reports.
The Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, after analyzing epidemiological data, updated the lists of countries and classified BiH in the group of countries from which a document proving a negative result of PCR or ELISA test on COVID-19 is required to enter Montenegro.
Namely, from now on it is possible to enter Montenegro with a negative serological test (blood test), which, it should be noted, is much cheaper and faster than the PCR test. On average, a blood test costs around 60 BAM, while a PCR test costs 200 BAM.
Croatia remained on the list of countries from which entry into Montenegro is possible without restrictions, while citizens of Serbia are allowed to stay in Montenegro only with the determination of self-isolation or quarantine measures.
The new decision of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro is in force from June 29 to July 5, 2020.
