According to the mayor of Prijedor, Marko Pavić, there is no epidemic in the areas of Prijedor which have been affected by floods.
On the press conference he said that the teams which carry out disinfection are constantly on the field.
“I am glad to hear the fact that, on the territory of Prijedor, there are very few reports of dead animals found. By knowing this, we can conclude that one of the major sources of possible infection is eliminated. Moreover, we react very quickly after we obtain information from citizens”, Pavic said.
Pavic added that the lack of fodder represents one among the biggest problems with which farmers are faced.
