Eternal fire in the Vraca Memorial Park, after 27 years, has started to burn again today, and the flame was symbolically burned by the former SFRY presidency chairman and former member of the National Liberation Army Raif Dizdarevic.

Dizdarevic, who stressed that this was a special honor, said, “As long as this flame burns above Sarajevo, there will also be anti-fascism present.”

The Delegations of the Canton Sarajevo, with Prime Minister Edin Forto laid the flowers on a monument to the fighters of the National Liberation Fight (NOB).

At the same time, the central solemn event of the Day of Victory over Fascism was held.

The flowers were also laid by Vice President of the FBiH Milan Dunovic, as well as the head of the OSCE Mission in BiH Bruce Berton, Klix.ba news portal reports.
