euThe implementation of the project “Strengthening the Efficiency of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH – IDDEEA” has been initiated with financial support of the European Union.

This project, with the budget of  600.000,00 €, is financed by the European Union from Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 2011), and the purpose of the project is to enhance human and technical capacities of IDDEEA in the field of IT security, as well as professional improvement and certification of staff for specific IT areas.

The project has three components: improvement of logical and physical information technology, improvement of IT experts’ skills and education of primary and secondary users of IDDEEA information system.

One of the specific tasks of the entire project is the development of e-Government, in order to improve efficiency at all levels of government through the computerization of their activities and to monitor and comply with the European integration process.

The project will last 18 months and will directly contribute to the more organized, efficient, transparent and user-friendly public administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project is being implemented by an Italian-Estonian Consortium, headed by CSI – Piemonte from Italy.
