EUFOR Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Traian T. Maghercă, and Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Operations, Major General Tomo Kolenda, signed a Cooperation plan between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This plan is signed on an annual basis, and provides an important framework for planning and coordinating joint activities and cooperation between the two institutions for the next year. It sets out key areas of cooperation aimed at further strengthening coordination, mutual understanding and interoperability.

Cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is of particular importance for maintaining and enhancing operational readiness, professional capabilities and the ability to work effectively together. Joint training, exercises and other practical activities are an important part of this cooperation, providing opportunities to exchange experience, improve procedures and further develop capabilities.

Continuous cooperation and joint training contribute to building trust, strengthening interoperability and enhancing the readiness of both institutions to contribute, within their respective mandates and responsibilities, to a safe and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
