The annual exercise “EUFOR Rapid Response 2023” will be held from September 11 to 29 throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Soldiers from 22 countries participating in the EUFOR mission will participate in the exercise, which will temporarily strengthen the composition of EUFOR by sending reserve forces that are currently on standby in those countries.

The purpose of the exercise is to show the readiness of EUFOR and to confirm its constant support in maintaining a safe and stable environment in BiH, EUFOR announced.

The public campaign includes advertisements on billboards, on TV, radio stations and print media. The campaign starts today and lasts until September 4, and will have great visibility throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the days leading up to the exercise itself, the citizens of BiH can expect increased movement of troops and the transport of reserve force equipment upon arrival in BiH.

More detailed information about the details of the exercise and the exact locations will be published before the start of the exercise, according to EUFOR.
